Fox Howe Cottage (Sleeps 4)
A delightful two bedroom single storey cottage laid out on ground floor level. It sleeps up to 4 people and may be suitable for anyone who finds stairs difficult. From the front of the cottage there are wonderful views of Skiddaw all the way around to the mountains above and beyond Keswick. The cottage has oak flooring throughout, is centrally heated, has WiFi and is dog friendly.
OPEN PLAN LIVING AND DINING AREA
Open plan living and kitchen area
- Seating area with two sofas in front of the log burner. TV, DVD player and digital radio
- Kitchen area with an electric hob, electric fan oven, slow cooker, microwave, large fridge with a freezer box, dishwasher and washing machine. There is ample storage and workspace in here and a very good selection of cooking equipment.
- Dining area beside window looking out onto the patio. Extendable table allows for flexible dining
- A small walk in cupboard provides storage space and a somewhere to dry wet outdoor kit.
BEDROOMS
Stairs tucked neatly into one corner lead directly from the living area into the bedroom -there is no door at the top here. Natural light floods through a skylight above the stairs.
The bedrooms both have oak flooring and look out onto the cottage patio

OUTSIDE
A door from the living area opens onto the patio at the rear of the cottage where there are fine views up to Whinlatter forest across our Croftlands House garden. The patio is a peaceful relaxing place to sit and is surrounded by a trellis fence making it secure for dogs. Red squirrels sometimes visit our garden and you might be lucky enough to see them playing in the hazel tree beside the patio. A 'lean to' shed off the patio provides storage space for outdoor equipment such as bikes.
